Range History

What was flooded river bottom land that the Indians of Georgia called home, became the land of Mr. Thomas Ellard back in 1920.  Mr. Ellard bought the land from the previous owner who had purchased it from the Holcombe’s (His name was later changed by the wind to Holcomb as in Holcomb Bridge Road) who operated a ferry over the Chattahoochee River. Mr. Ellard died just a few years later and left the land to his wife, who left the land to her daughter, who left the land to her two children. Well one of them kept the land and you can come enjoy it and practice all aspects of the game of golf.

Are rental golf clubs available to use?

We also are a Wilson Staff authorized dealer and have all of the latest equipment for you to try out – ask Jim to set you up.

Yes, you can book lessons online, contact Jim Cropper at (770) 883-6384 or stop by the teaching center and schedule a session to improve your game. All levels of golfers accepted.

Yes, we have a chipping/putting green area, bunker area – both green side shots and fairway distance. Also have an artificial putting green. We have an uneven lie station to work on those difficult lies. We have a brand new 3000 square foot Tiff Bermuda putting green. Come out and lower those scores!

Sorry, we do not have a golf course at our location, come out and work on your game here, you won’t be disappointed not having a golf course.
